I believe it's under "vehicle trim" and then "3' F30 335i Reinforcement for body, front". It took me a while to find it.

That's crazy that you found it. I've literally been searching all day through almost every single category. Thank you!

You're welcome! Although it does seem a bit shorter than the torx bolts I removed...from the center portion near the windshield.

Well today I was able to find some time and change my oil, as well as change my spark plugs.

I also installed my bavsound ghost subwoofers.

Everything was really easy and straightforward........except the part where I dropped my 3/8" drive ratchet down into the wheel well area and had to take apart the lower inner fender liner to get it out. That wasted about 45 minutes right there.

I don't think the spark plugs look too bad honestly. I'm not sure if these have 30,000 miles on them or 60,000 miles on them though.

I noticed that the strut stretch bolts that I removed, were all like the realOEM ones with the external torx head. I just reused them, they went right back in and seemed sound.

I tried to get the dealership here in Little Rock to give me the part number and was told "sorry sir, but it's against BMW's policy to give out part numbers".

Such a load of crap. I'll never buy anything from them. I did first try to see if they had them in stock, and they did not, and the parts rep quoted me at around $7.50 a bolt. Meanwhile on realOEM they are $2.46 a bolt.

I would not recommend that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque-to-yield_fastener

They "seem" to be able to be re-used but they will not work as well as they did during their initial use. Has anyone ever suffered a catastrophic failure do to it? Probably not, but I wouldn't chance it.

Ok, I'll order some and replace them. But honestly, I'm not auto crossing the car or anything or have any suspension mods. It's my daily only.

But I'm sure you're correct. I used to work on helicopters so I know all about one time use fasteners.

Do you happen to know what the torque spec is on those bolts?

Based on the 2nd picture in the original post:

41 ft lbs + 90 degrees.

But I've also provided screenshots from ISTA Rheingold.

I changed the plugs out on my '13 335i this weekend. Since there really wasn't a step by step anywhere, here's a link with a step by step guide on changing plugs. Goes into detail removing all the covers, weather seals, etc to get access to all of the plugs.

Unfortunately no, I use a separate app (Drivvo) to keep track of service/log gas mileage so I rely on that.

For resetting service stuff I use Carly.
Sorry!

What about the ignition coil? Should that be changed at the same time as well?

It's not necessary to change them out when you do your initial spark plug change.

They are fairly expensive to replace as well.

So are there better plugs you can use than the OEM ones? Lol the car only has 23k miles on her, but when I do it, I was wondering if there were a better plug to use.

From what I've gathered the consensus is to stick with the factory spec plugs. I've seen a few cases where people suggested colder plugs but those were in highly modified vehicles.
