Show your tattoo thread.

I didn't come across this here and thought it might be a good idea for everyone to share the pictures of their tattoo's (if they already have them) or ideas of what they are looking to get.

I've been lately contemplating getting a tattoo and the struggle for me is thinking of something meaningful enough that I'd like to get permanently tattoo'ed.

So let's see them guys, is there any love for tattoo's on bimmer post??

They were done about a year and a half ago. Most of them are characters or things from videogames/tvshows, others are for art. The canadian flag is basically for my time in the military.

People put too much thought about getting stuff as a tattoo, just don't get anything you'll regret.

I have a few (all hide-able for work situations where hiding them is important). The only one I have that means anything is this one.

To say this was against the tattooists advice would be a vast understatements, as this is my wife's name. A bad luck tattoo, according to him. This was 20 years ago... defying odds is what we do!

Edit: Bad lighting... I am not REALLY this white. Also, this is upper right bicep, since it is a tad hard to locate based on crop.

Well if you ever get a divorce, it narrows down your search pattern for a new GF named Heather.

I am all up for the wife's name idea, I mean why not? Commitment is what's lacking in most relationships these days I feel. At the first sign of stress or argument people run for divorce, instead of sticking it out and working through the issues. Anyway, I digress. I personally think it's a great idea for couple tattoo's or spouse tattoo's etc.

Exactly! This was our thinking. She has the sun - we designed them (I know... kind of corny). Also, the way I look at it is if we ever were to get divorced, covering a tattoo or narrowing my replacement pool would be the least of my concerns.

PS: I had never actually thought about this before, but I could also get a dog and name it with same name and just talk about how much I love my dog?!? Problem = solved.

Mine instead of names are in the Chinese year of the certain animals on my sleeves to represent special people in my life. That way I don't really have to cross out someone's name if that happened.
