N20 JB4 Firmware Setting for EWG cars

Hey guys,

Had this come up with a customer who was unaware of the setting for his electronic wastegate car (JB4 blue harness not connected) and thought I'd throw a post up here in case anyone else is not aware of it.

A few months ago BMS released EWG specific settings. To enable them you use the JB4 interface to update your JB4 firmware and set the FF value to 0 under user adjustment. This will prevent a possible over-boost condition and subsequent throttle closure that can come up on EWG cars if you don't make the setting change. To do this you need to be running 6.2 or later firmware. Alternatively you can just upload the EWG firmware and don't need ot make the setting change.

All the info is posted here on BMS' N20 JB4 forum post: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15536

No, from my understanding FF should be set to 0 if you are not using flex fuel.

There is Stage1 and there is JB4. This is a JB4 only setting change.
