Twice now I’ve had keys in the car with it running and I get locked out. Both times stuff went in/out of trunk but how does it lock while running in park. I called a dealer and they said I locked it but not true. If driver’s door is open you can’t push lock down. Once windows were down (lucky) but the other time I was at gas station and needed kid to come with spare key. Anyone knows how this happens….

It shouldn't lock itself. But standard access does allow the doors to be locked with the keys inside, or in the trunk. One bad experience should teach you don't leave the fob in the car, that's why you have pockets.

AFAIK with CA it's not supposed to be able to lock with the fob in the car or trunk. I'd test that with your spare fob. I did so with my standard access the 2nd day I had the car, found it will lock me out, so going forward from there the fob is never out of my pocket.
