My thoughts exactly. Then I thought about 'well maybe it's canadian so it's a lot more', but go build one in the states and I bet it's about the same price as those M perf parts aren't cheap. Upwards of $4k just for the M Perf bits right (and that's probably conservative). Given that you can reach $60k loading the car up with options prior to touching the M Perf, I can see it being about that price in the US.

Crazy high for a 3 series that isn't a M3 and no LSD. But it looks good for sure, just that a M3 would look better in that price range (or a C63 since those start out a shade under $60k right?)

It's a question of taste though. Some would question the benefit of getting a C63 in its last year of production. Sure it might be affordable now but the new C63 will be more interesting than the old C63 by this time next year. It will be old news then.

this car is could potentially break into the 12s at the 1/4 (stock), 30mpg, more tech than anything in its class, potentially will beat the 3:13 set by the 335 San PPK, zero maintenance costs, limited edition so better residual, only in its 2nd year of production so a new kid on the block etc.

I don't see why around 65k is not the right place to be on pricing, a loaded C350, Q50, IS350 are around 55k usd. Surely no one expects to pay 55k for a loaded 335i with a number of mperformance parts. The 20" wheels, PPK and MPE alone will run you around 6,000 when purchased individually. A loaded 335i with no mperformance parts costs around 62,000 usd

Yeah! What he said!

All I can say is a love driving it. . I never listen to the stereo at all just to hear it roar. And in Canada AWD is a plus. Find me an M3 with AWD. The practicality of this car is what drove me too it. And I can tell you wherever I go people can't stop looking at it.

I would love to see some other colour combo deliveries of this car.

OP, nice car. I like the black.
The Canadian M3 is about $5-6K more than US price and if you consider the exchange rate represents about $2,500 of that difference, it's not a big deal.

The M3 is $71,700 in Canada and already well loaded with standard features. I'm in Toronto and will be in the market soon and I cannot justify paying $65,900 for any 335i that's not a convertible. Thousands more for only 26 more HP?

If $66K is my price range (and it would be ), I'd rather pay ~$6K more for an M3 that's much more powerful (100+ HP), lighter, better looking, etc. It's a different class of car on the track or streets. A no option M3 >>> Loaded 335i.

What is the Piano black trim?

Is it same of different from the trim you get on F30 Sport line?

Not the same. It is custom to the M Performance Edition. Check the first pics in this thread and look at the picture of the door, below the door handle. It is wood painted to have the finish like shiny black keys on a piano. IMO it looks great. I have not seen it in any other BMWs before. It is on the dash and the center iDrive area as well. You might be able to order it on other BMWs? Not sure.

Only thing i would change in the options would be a stick!

.... depending on the equation from whp to bhp, it might be 410 or 420, but who's counting? Just wicked quick for a $700 cobb investment. (and much more torque than a stock M3 btw). I'll always stick with forced induction; the new M3/M4 will be hitting 650hp within 5 months with the help of the tuners out there.

I love how its always a modded vs stock like an m3 owner wouldnt mod his car. Throw on a supercharger and there is no contest. Heck, throw on test pipes and exhaust and a tune and its 400hp to the wheels.

Dont get me wrong, n54/5 are great engines mid range but power just drops significantly in higher revs. S65 pulls all the way to 8500 or 9000 revs with a tune. Good for the track. I dont need torque down low i drive like a grandpa in the city.
