F32 435XI taking things to the street limit
Hey guys I'm the proud owner of a 2015 435xi with 16k miles. I bought this car after building and modifying a 17' mustang gt, 15 X6M, and a C63amg (all built with power adders and track suspension i have it all on my IG if anyone is interested)
My goals: I am currently FBO including LPFP and HPFP but on stock turbo with the M package so Aux rad and oil cooler. Intercooler, dp, cp, boost pipe, intake, etc are all aftermarket with a Dorch stg 2 hpfp. I enjoy the car a great deal and I'd like to build a fun street/track car that can play with around 600-650whp on e50 with a low 0-60. I currently have done all exterior modifications including quad tip carbon swap with diffuser on the rear end, except a wrap and new 20 inch rims. Engine: I have looked into getting my N55 built with a closed deck and forged internals / crank and plan to go this route I was looking at Ghassan if anyone has any input. thanks Turbo- I've been eyeing the Pure 750 with hybrid turbo. It comes with an updated manifold design and drops the power curve by 500rpm and can support 600whp. thoughts? dropping the boost curve and eliminating lag would be ideal. Fueling: Ive already handled port injection and fueling with the dorch HPFP, a stage 3 LPFP setup, and direct port injection setup. I only have access to E55 on a good day so I'd like to keep the tune around E50 to daily. Is meth necessary at this power level?I've never used it much. Trans- Planned on either grabbing an M series clutch pack and stage 2 upgrade for longevity sake but ive seen a few mail order trans shops that do similar work. suggestions or experiences appreciated. Traction / AWD upgrades: I was reading that the max tread on AWD for these cars shouldn't be past 245 front and 265 rear? I have been looking at the M diff swap, do you guys see this as necessary or a big improvement? I assumed drive shaft and half shafts would need to be replaced as well as a sport suspension / spring set as well to improve traction under 60/ on track days. Tuning: BM3 with E50 custom dyno tune? Thats what i use currently I apologize if ive missed anything. Input and suggestions appreciated. I have already budgeted for this and have some wiggle room for suggestions. I plan to have this completed in the next three months. Thanks! |

You should read up in N55 tech section.
Ghassan - absolutely no Trans - pure drivetrain build IC - looks too small? Looks like a 5'' HD, you should get a race fueling - At E50 you should have probably just stayed DI with DS2 and possibly a lift kit and DI injectors if needed |
