Remote Turn On HELP!!!!

I have a LC2i that I'm looking for a remote turn on source. I have the HK system and my LC2i is located next to the factory amp. It was my understanding that you can tap the 12 accessory outlet in the trunk. I've attempted to tap with zero success!?!

Any suggestions??

Ehh - you don't need a remote turn on for the LC2i - it generates a turn on signal based on the high level inputs? You would use the remote turn on from LC2i to patch into your aftermarket amp. The LC2i itself only requires +12v and ground - no turn on.

Due to the HK being a class D amp it will not turn on by sensing factory amp signal.

I appreciate the feedback though. I figured out the problem and now have a 100% functional system.

What did you use for turn on?

And if that doesn't work then you can use that "add a fuse" gadget that piggy backs on an existing trunk fuse slot. Not sure how safe this is but I am told that most of those fuses turn off after 5 minutes of shutting down the car.
