another one in the queue

I had confirmation from my Fleet Manager that the oreder for my new company car had been placed with the dealer
The bad news is he is saying that delivery will be 12 - 16 weeks

So I ordered a F31 320d SE xDrive manual in mineral white. Not sure if its white or silver as the brochure shows a white sport model and the colour swatch at the back is silver

The options are
Pro media
Harman kardon speakers
Sport seats
Speed limit display
Heated steering wheel
Extended interior lighting
Folding head rests
I would have liked bigger wheels leather auto and the msport but I maxed out the lease budget and didnt want to loose the xDrive.
We also have an E46 330 vert which has stepped out her rear on me a couple of times in the wet which made me adament that for the workorse if was going to ve a BMW it would be all wheel drive.

Looking forward to learning lots and and being part of the community

Mineral White is a great colour. Kinda metallic pearl white. If it was available on the M Sport I'd have ordered it.

Nice looking spec you've got there. I didn't opt for the folding rear headrests as I never had a problem with rear visibility on the test drives, but appreciate it's a personal choice.

Now it's 12-16 weeks of visiting and re-visiting the BMW website, looking at the brochures over and over again, hanging around in forums, Googling for images of "BMW F30" and just being a general fidget!

Haha glad I'm not the only one - mine is in build expected weekending 24th May - only so many YouTube videos and searches for 'F30 330d M sport uk' my iPad can take!

Great colour and spec look forward to the pictures

Mineral white is my favourite colour, I was going to order my F31 M sport in it, but didn't have the time to wait for the individual order. Not seen a mineral white F31 so make sure you post some piccies!

I was told same. 8 to 10 seems more accurate. Based on the last date I had my car is a week away from delivery but they are still unable to give me a collection date. my current car needs a service and the finance needs paying off soon.

It would be great for you. Bizarrely unfair for others who have been waiting for 8 weeks already and 4 more to go!!!

It's always possible the dealer already had an order in that was still spec changeable.

With modern rear wheel drive cars unless you turn off the traction control it is nearly impossible to get the back to step out. The stability control kicks in instantly to correct it. Just seems a strange reason to be adamant you need AWD.

I agree, you have to gun it with tc off to get it to misbehave

Too many horror stories of beemers with no grip in the wet coupled with my own experience with the vert convinced me it was the right thing to do. I get a fuel card so any fuel economy issues don't bother me - The more I burn the more tesco points I get !

It's a company car so I won't be able to change over to winter tyres so the xDrive seemed right.

I had in excess of 600 options to choose from with all the combinations of makes models engines drive trains and trim. The F31 was good on emmissions pace interior size and the wife liked it.

I tried to sneak in the grey gradient band on the windscreen but that's not compatible with the speed sign system so I added the sport steering wheel.

Finally got the right people to sign the forms, 2 bloody weeks to get 2 signatures !

Anyway, delivery should be the end of July. Not too worried about missing the 2014 model year updates, just want rid of this 1.6 diesel mondeo hire car I'm driving...

If you've heard of BWM's not gripping in the wet its because someone's driving on bald tyres
