Sold To Carvana

Well finally bit the bullet and sold my 13' 320ix, i got what i think was a nice offer from Carvana, above the KBB value, almost near the PPV price point. She was sold earlier this mth as well with 46k miles on her.

Overall the online transaction's including getting the estimated quote and after accepting the offer, submitting the required paperworks was pretty easy and the date i set for them to pick it up as long as its within (75 miles or less, nearest a dealer), was straight forward.

I got my money by DD within two days time.

Two days AFTER the vehicle was picked up? If so, did they give you an option to receive a check upon vehicle pickup?

It is great to know that Carvana is not ripping us off when they buy our car. I wonder how they inspect the vehicle.

Yes after they picked her up. They give u the option on how u want to get paid when filling out the process online, it has the paper check opt.

They only ask u to fill out certain specifics, no pics need to be taken and submitted. They do require that the vehicle can start and be driven off or else they will deny it..

Tried it for fun lmao, offering me 13.8k, off the charts on KBB value.

What a joke.

The car has no accident history, just has "damage reported"

They have one in Minnesota with the same mileage, in red, with a lot less features for 24k. So they're essentially trying to have a 10k markup on my vehicle.

Yeah idk why or how they do the estimation's, i know in my area Bimmer's sell pretty good here, especially the 320's..

And most likely i will be replacing her for really goid used B7/S4 manual with low mileage..

Watch out for the timing chain guides. Replace them with the guides from the BNS RS4 V8. Nice cars otherwise.

I just got a Carvana offer for a little under $16k on my 2016 340i xDrive with 55k miles. Seems low based on comps in the area. A friend of mine did the calculation with their Grand Cherokee and got a crazy good offer.

Apparently the demand for used cars coming out of the pandemic has been rather fortuitous for the founder and his son... they're doing quite well!

I recently sold my 435i M Sport @ 45k miles to Vroom for $24000 and they resold it for ~$1500 more. Not sure how some of you with 340is are getting such low offers. My Carvana offer was only $600 less than my Vroom offer.

I just recently sold a 24k mile 2014 Mustang to Carvana for over $28k. The car cost about $38k MSRP in 2014. With rebates and incentives, the car was purchase for about $31k. Losing less than $3k in 6 years on a car is a great deal.

Carvana made an offer, we accepted, scheduled a drop off date and time, dropped the car off, received the check for the agreed upon amount and we left. The total time at their location was around 12 minutes!!!

I just ran my 2016 435i ZHP through the Carvana website and they offered $16,500. Yeah, I don't think so.

I just sold my X3 on Carvana. (That's what was replaced by my 440i GC). I was really surprised at how high the offer was relative to Carmax ($14k), Vroom ($14.5k after negotiating), and what I could get selling on Autotrader. ($15 to $17). Carvana gave me $16,400! I used to do a lot of car trading, so I know the different valuation methods, and I can't figure what criteria they used in their valuation to be so much higher. I can only guess that my X3 was the type of car they specifically wanted for their clientele. I kept waiting for the catch, but they just picked up the car and direct deposited the money!

JGC is like gold to carvana for some reason. They'll Pay good money for it, and then sell to some fool for even more
