Haha....It was a neccesity on this, makes it feel a bit more special than all the regular 3/420ds on the road.... Not that they cant have it but most probably dont.

Really nice car indeed!
Seen (and heard!) my first 340i today, sounded fantastic!! Was a red touring whilst I was at Sandbanks. I wouldn't worry about the lack of pick up as its brand new. I think all new cars are like this (mine have) - but they fly once they get a few thousand on them.

Looks lovely. After having had a black sapphire car before I know for sure that carbon black is the only black I'd ever consider getting... Looks so much better to me.

Great spec and a great looking car, enjoy! My old M3 CS was Carbon Black and, while it took a bit of effort to keep it looking good, it was well worth it and was to my eye far nicer than the Black Sapphire I had on the 335i which succeeded it!

Looks great, so pleased that you got yours before me (!!!!!!). Should be picking mine up on Tuesday if not before (just arrived at dealer).
But anyway, enjoy it and get some miles done so you can enjoy the performance. |

Lovely looking car!
Very interesting to hear your comparison to the 330d, it is certainly giving me itchy feet! Keen to hear how it goes as it loosens up!!! |
