My F30 328i mod thread update!
Mod list:
- Dinan Springs - Apex PS-7 19x8.5 ET35 Satin Black - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 245/40/19 - BMS Stage 1 - Injen CAI - Active Autowerke Exhaust - Black Trunk Lip Spoiler - Glossy Black Kidneys - 20% Tinted windows - M-Performance Front Splitter/Lip Not sure what to mod next. Car is a 2014 F30 328I Xdrive, Sportline, Premium, Nav, Driver's Assistance, Glacier Silver, Dakota Black. October-15 Update: Car has been joined by a new stablemate: August-15 Update: Car has had a few more upgrades since april. I have added an Injen CAI (mostly for sound, also a slight increase in hp/tq in the midrange), and an m performance front lip/splitters. It looks good and helps with downforce. The car has been accompanied by my E90 to share driving duties. I have also taken it to Bimmerfest East in my home state of NJ which was about a 1200 mile round trip. Was real fun. Car is at about 15250 miles, about 14 months into ownership. I have done 90% of the mods I wanted to and I think the car will remain as is until lease end. April-15 Update: Decided to swap the wheels and tires from my VMR V710 19" w/Nankang tires. Running lightweight flow-formed 19" Apex PS-7s (21 lbs/wheel) with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S-3s. The difference is amazing 9 month ownership update: It's been a long and hard winter. But I feel like the last big upgrade has been made to celebrate the car's soon to be 10k miles I am going to take a couple better shots given how nice it's been very shortly. Galaxy Note 3 Pictures: 6 month update: Car has had a couple extra mods: - Active Autowerke axleback exhaust (sounds very beefy and nice! installation and fitment was not that nice out of the box) - IND Painted Reflectors (cleans up the look a lot) - Removed the whiskers (will need to add a black set, looks empty) Car got a slight ding on it too from some dumbass at a shopping mall. But will be fixed! Car is running great with 7700 miles on the odo and new mods put me back in love with the car (after a short love affair with my old E90 and an E39 540). Photos:

Looks good but my only concern is your tire size combo. Your front tire diameter is more than 2% smaller than your rear and on AWD cars it recommended to stay within 1% to not cause any problems.

You need to run a 265/30 in the rear. You can also run a 275/30 in rear which has the closest RD to your 235/35 up front. I have a 265/30 in the rear with no problems.

^Yes, for a E90.
For an F3x, the 19" tire sizes are as follow: 225/40R19F 255/35R19R

The 235s are wider and look better and fit just as well. I have ordered a set of 265/30 and can't wait till they are here - I am suddenly afraid to drive the car.

Thank you!
Love the color. Silver is tasteful yet understated. Keeps it under the radar which is my style Just want to requote this. Thanks for bringing this to my attention otherwise I would have been totally oblivious.

So 225/40R19 are 26.09" high. Usually, you want to stay within +-2% difference. Equivalent in 19" for the front would be: 235/40R19 (taller at 26.4) 245/35R19 (shorter at 25.8) (235/35R19 are much shorter, at 25.48") In the rear, 255/35R19 are OE size (26.03") Equivalent for the rear: 265/35R19 (26.3) 275/35R19 (26.6) 285/30R19 (25.73) (265/30R19 are much shorter at 25.26") A good combo for a different size of 19" would be: 235/40R19 F Either 265/35R19 (best) or 275/35R19R Or 245/35R19F 285/30R19R

245/35 would have been nice, but with the 285s in the rear wouldn't fit I'm pretty sure on that. Oh well, guess I just got to deal with it till the next set.

At least now, you'll have a closer ratio with the 235/35F, 265/30R.
That will also be better for your AWD system. Good idea to replace the 265/35R.

Really improves handling and looks, sacrifice on ride quality (but that is also due to my 19s and the really shitty roads around here). If you don't care for adjusting ride height or shock dampening, and don't want to go super low, I recommend this setup.

Yup ET33. Your fitment depends a lot on what kind of a drop/suspension you have, what tires you're running, and wheel width obviously. But I think 43 or 45 are definitely too high. I recommend ET33-ET38. I love my ET33s, very flush with a slight poke, looks great! Never ever rubbed.
