Do you have the E-sys Getting Started Docs on how to Change FA and VO code? They show step-by-step instructions with pictures.

This is the correct way to code SPORT+ and SAT.

I own an F30 320ed that came with modern package, so, no sport + mode neither SAT. Keep in mind that I didn't changed VO! Everything worked without changing VO!

This is what you need to code:

>>> For SPORT+ <<<

KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_TEXT 1,2,3,4 = menue 3

KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_SIGNAL 1,2,3,4 = menue 3

KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE = menue 3

ICM > 3000 > ICMKOD_B_SPORTLENKUNG = verbaut

>>> For SAT (sport auto trans) <<<

EGS > 3000_Applikation > Sportschalter_alt = aktiv
EGS > 3000_Applikation > Sportschalter = aktiv

If you want, you could also code Launch Control. I didn't code this, yet.

EGS > 3000_Applikation > LC = aktiv

Have fun!

Proof.
Can you upload a video when you have launch control?

I confirm for the sport+ display:

KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_TEXT 1 = menue 3
KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_SIGNAL 1 = menue 3

KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_TEXT 2 = menue 3
KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_SIGNAL 2 = menue 3

KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_TEXT 3 = menue 3
KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_SIGNAL 3 = menue 3

KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_TEXT 4 = menue 3
KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE_SIGNAL 4 = menue 3

KOMBI > 300C ECO_FDS > FDS_MENUE = menue 3

ICM > 3000 > ICMKOD_B_SPORTLENKUNG = verbaut

And for the Launch Control you must have SAT or 2TB coded in VO. With the 205 transmission the Launch Control can't be activated. The code EGS > 3000_Applikation > LC = aktiv has no effect.

It is production date dependent.

You can either VO code or you can FDL code.

VO coding uses XPath and supported years are listed there.

Yes, especially if you use constantly.

VO Coding alone will not cause issue, unless car does not meet minimum (Xpath) requirements. Using feature, over life of vehicle, too many times can be an issue.

Why not VO code? Then, you will not have to guess which parameter you missed.

You would have to check order guides to see if it is a valid option.

Look at Pricing and Ordering guides for specific options. For example, you will find 2TB on F10 sheet but not F07.
