2016 F30 328i LCI M Sport delivered w/pics
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com 2016 328i Xdrive M Sport Package -18" Orbit Grey Wheel -Adaptive M Suspension -Sport Seats -Aluminum Trim w/ Black accent -M Steering Wheel -Aerodynamic Kit -Shadowline Exterior Trim -Anthracite Headliner Driver Assistance Package -Rear view camera -Park Distance Control Premium Package -Comfort Access keyless entry -Moonroof -Lumbar Support -Satellite Radio w/ 1 year sub Technology Package -Navigation System -Heads-up Display -BMW Online and BMW Apps -Advanced RTTi -Remote Services Track Handling Package -M Sport Brakes -Variable sport steering Heated Front Seats Enhanced Bluetooth Harmon Kardon Black Kidney Grilles Thoughts: -The 18" Orbit Grey wheels dont look all that good in my opinion. I went ahead and bought the Style 442 19's and had the BMW center install them before i took delivery. Between buying the new wheels\tires and selling the 18" wheels\tires I expect it to cost me about $1,000. Overall I am glad i did it, the 19's really give it the look I was going for. It is worth noting that with this track handling package, BMW specd Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, very good tires in my opinion. -Why was everybody worried about the variable sport steering? I think it feels great! Easy to navigate in and out of parking spots and driveways, meanwhile it is tight and firm as im whipping around turns at speeds id rather not talk about.. -The Adaptive M Suspension is the most worthwile option i selected for this car. Most definitely worth it! I tried all the settings and Sport+ is definitely my choice for spirited driving. Otherwise, its left in comfort mode which is great for cruising down the highway. -This car feels like its on rails, especially in Sport. BMW did change to a 5 bolt strut design, that coupled with the M Adaptive Suspension could be the explanation for it -The exhaust!!! OMG, sounds very throaty in Sport/Sport+ I initially thought I would spring for the M Performance Exhaust, but shoot this sounds incredible. Very deep, not ricey like other turbo 4's i've heard. Final Comments: I know people would ask, so i'll go ahead and put it out there. I chose the 328 over the 335\340 because of handling. Obviously I didnt have a 340 to drive back in July so my experiences were with the 335. I drove both, needless to say the 0-60 of the 335 is superior, Im sure the 340 will be even better. However I feel like the 328 seemed more agile. During the test drive I whipped it around a turn, i didnt "feel" like there was any weight shifting when comparing it to the 335. The 328 has the balance and feel i was going for. Even though the engine is not as powerful as the 335, i dont really feel like i gave up much performance. For me, personally, the 328 is the perfect combination of handling and power that I've been looking for in my daily driver. I am currently in the process of getting the paint protection film done along with 35% 3M Ceramic film on all the windows (nothing on windshield). Now about that M2... Hurry up and get in my driveway :P |

Looks great! The sound you hear is the active sound... It makes the N20 sound so much better in the cabin. It does not sound like that on the outside.

I figured part of it was the active sound, but shoot even with the windows down i wasnt at all dissappointed. As far as the wheels go, yeah i'd do it again. I love the 442's over the 18's that came with it.

I have pictures, ill post them ASAP. I really like that LED is now standard. I really like the rear LCI tail lights, alot of people on here were kinda upset about them but they look great to me.

I feel like an idiot because i do not know for sure... I dont see it on the window sticker so im going to say no. If i remember correctly, I think the adaptive was an extra option. Since the LED's came with it as a no-cost factory option, i personally couldnt justify the cost, just my opinion though. The wife thought it was a worthwhile feature, so we got it on her X3.

Encouraging comments on the VSS, is this your 1st F30? I was wondering how it compares to an earlier model. |
