F36 rear spoiler...finally a good one
So I have been waiting for a F36 spoiler for 7 months and BMW would rather make spoilers for their X3/5s than a F36. The only other options were a chunky 3d design that looks like you pit a shed on your trunk.
This one is from ebay made in Taiwan, only $150 painted/shipped. Fit and finish is excellent and the spoiler looks fantastic...like a M Perf but the back has an opening like and wraps around the outter edges. Sorry not installed yet but test fit was 99.8% |

I think this is the one I have already contacted the seller about. I asked for a pic installed on an actual F36 but non is available. How do you know fit and finish is excellent? Do you already have it? I keep hoping for more of an M4 style one for our cars.

Check out this link guys from ebay. I am pretty sure this is what the OP is referring to. It is a blend between the M4 style spoiler and a "regular" one.

Its from seller "oem.thing". The paint was also excellent. I have purchased a 2 series spoiler from them and that was also excellent.
Im sure all the seller get their spoiler from the same place in taiwan but paint job might be different from each seller |

Interesting...I noticed that some of his unpainted spoilers come right from LA....like the W222 S-class spoiler.
Their item listings seem to be very specific about the paint codes,..etc. Be great to see that the paint job is as nice as you speak of, ...considering it IS quite reasonably priced. |

Thank you! I definitely like the side profile The size and height of the spoiler is what I like, subtle and well proportioned. However, the view from the back looks off to me. The two side parts of the spoiler that extends down does not seem to follow the lines of the trunk??

I still think this is the best spoiler option for the F36 right now though.

Maybe my eyesight is bad, but I don't get why that's necessary.... Otherwise, the color match seems very good! Last edited by RichReg; 10-26-2015 at 06:56 PM.. Reason: Comment |
