Your favourite tipple?

When I was younger it was definitely beer and I'm still partial to a pint or 2 but over the years I've dabbled more and more in red wine specifically Rioja, as the family have property in Spain it very easy to be accustomed to.

More and more though I keep turning to bourbon / Jack Daniels with coke.

I'd always drink beer first followed by the wine especially with food and finish with JD.

What's yours?

Depends on the mood, the occasion and the company I am with (yes snobby I know).

At home like now, it's a red wine or (or a beer if I remember to take some from the beer fridge in the garage).

I like a good whisky preferably an Islay Malt, although also like Talisker, Glenmorangie.

My sociable drink is Gin, currently have a couple nice bottle of jenevier (Dutch Gin).

Also a Rum freak, I kill for good quality rums.

I don't drink tequila, not since I was 20!

White wine occasionally if it's a decent one, I hate cheap tasteless white wine.

Did I mention Rum?

There is a bloke that writes books about rum.

He sails around the Caribbean trying them out and doing reviews.

I hate the fucking Cnut !

I even sent him my CV.

Garage List
Varies on where and who I'm with

Generally for a meal out will try different beers especially if on holiday will always try indigenous beers

If on a posh night out will pretend I know about wines - in reality know Bugger all

Night out with lads - falling over beers or shorts

Night out with friends start on beer then JD and Coke finally shots then game over !!

Fuck, I missed Port off the list.

Yes and Port, drank in a wine glass, as Port glasses are too small

For that better experience try a Cheeky Vimto....

I've been working in hospitality for over 20years and there's hardly any alcoholic drink that I haven't tried especially in my younger days but nowadays I only drink wine and very much into it not just drinking which I do every day but learning about it also got a fair bit of collection that I'm proud of🍷🍷🍷🍷

This. Port does't last too long in my house.

Like a glass of red wine or 2, G&T's are welcomed & Jack Daniels single barrel is nice, neat, with metal ice cubes to chill if desired.

Tend not to do bombs, would rather sit and sip a Jager and Red Bull

I went to a wedding in Cornwall a couple of years ago and had to teach the bar staff how to make a Jager Bomb! Can't get the staff any more!

Depends on the context.
Couple of years ago I got heavily into brewing my own ale, built up a 100 litre system! Just cannot be arsed with the hassle now
I am partial to a dark mild or porter.
Other than that, Whisky is a favorite and I like to collect various bottles, mainly speyside.
I also try to pick up bottles of Ron Miel (Honey Rum) whenever someone is going to the cannaries as its absolutley fantastic!

Did someone say 'Cheeky Vimtos'? On a golf long weekend in Prestwick, 30 lads from Sheffield were introduced to cheeky vimtos.

Police were very friendly, locals were too, don't think they'd heard of sheffield and were too busy knocking seven lumps out of each to bother about us.
