Aaaaaaannnnd... STILL no coilovers. I hate waiting, I seriously can't stand it. #FirstWorldProblems
I'm gonna put on my wheels Saturday. Have my shop swap the TPMS out, mount and balance, throw the appropriate sizes spacers on and have my fenders rolled. It will poke slightly for a week or 2... But it will save me time and make feel like this build is actually moving along. It's been too stagnant waiting for this stuff. |

Can you post up details of your entire brake setup? Calipers, pads, rotors? Looking to upgrade sometime soon. TY

Got the wheels put on today. I'm very pleased with the look of them. Even more so, the minimal amount of stretch on the 9.5 with 255/35. I wanted to do 255/40 all around, but these will do for now. Wheel specs are 19x9.5 et37 all around, 5mm spacers in the front to clear the strut and 12mm spacers in the rears to match the poke of the fronts.
Here's a pick of the inner clearance for reference. I could probably do a 265/35 with an 8mm spacer and -3 camber, but I'm trying to keep it at -2 or less. ![]() Pictures of the wheels mounted. Pissed that my black BMW Roundels don't fit these openings. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I got the rear fenders rolled just for the extra few mm of space to reduce any potential rubbing. Hopefully my coilovers will be here within the next 2 weeks. One day at a time. |

This is the standard 335i setup. 4 pot Brembo front calipers with the 340mm rotors. I purchased the 4 pot rears to get rid of the shitty stock one. I have to order the 345mm rear rotors to make them work. From my research, this is the same setup on the M235i from the factory. I'll be ordering the 340mm front, 345mm rear drilled and slotted rotors from R1CONCEPTS with ceramic pads, priced it out for like $670ish. I have like 25% life on my OEM pads and I'm at 40K miles on the rotors so I may end up doing this by the end of the year. Wanted to wait until next year, but I'll do what I have to do. |

Going on Saturday. I doubt this setup will take more than -1.8ish to fit for the drop I'm going with. I only want to reduce wheel gap, maybe tuck a few mm of tire once it settles. This is all a barometer for my next setup.

No rubbing at all. However, I had my rears rolled slightly. Eyeballing it, I doubt it would have rubbed at stock height anyway. |

those wheels look awesome on there. do you think you'll have inner clearance issues with the coilovers?
Im thinking of getting those but in 19x8.5 et35 square with 255s

Go for it, I like the look of these compared to every other set of OEM wheels of our generation. Gives the F30 a real OEM plus feel. |

This happened today.
![]() I've been grinning like a school girl ever since. A quick reminder on the fitment specs for anyone that cares to know: 19x9.5 et37 with 255/35/19 tires all around 5mm spacers in front, 12mm spacers in the rear. Lowered 2.5" front and 1.8" in rear on BC Extreme Lows with 12kg front springs and 10kg rear springs. (These things drop really low... I have so much room left to go lower... Camber and toe listed in pic below. I'm still debating how I want to play this. I think the rears need to be raised about .5" and I'll either drop down to 8mm spacer in the rears or move up to an 8mm spacer up front. Then I'll alter the camber to either be -2 all around or -2.5 all around. ![]() A few more night time cell phone pics until I can get the DSLR out and have a real session. ![]() ![]() ![]() For the record, there's absolutely no rubbing at all... like anywhere. I have room for another 5-7mm up front at -2, probably 10-12mm at -3. This is really helping me get the specs down for my Meisters SP3s, I'm very happy. If anyone has any fitment questions feel free to hit me up. |
