Oh jeez rob making me look bad now lmao

All the drag racing videos in that clip were done at the end of the day and I was actually delirious at that point. I had lack of sleep and food since we were up at 5am that day and we were racing constant all day. FYI I normally eat 6 meals/4K+ calories a day so no food for most of the day does effect me quite a bit lol. Needless to say I think I had 1 or 2 good runs during that 1/4 mile segment and definitely called it quits after that for good reason. There was no lines since everyone left so we just kept driving back on the track and rob kept egging me on for "1 more, 1 more." After I fucked up the launch and/or misshifted like 3-4 straight runs I was done #coolstorybro

The roll races were all pretty legit... no excuses there

Best traps of the day for me were 120-121 IIRC. A pure stage 2 X1 with PI/e85 was trapping roughly 126-128 if I'm not mistaken. I was pretty happy with the results on my better runs.

CTS Front Mount Intercooler

I recently picked up a CTS Turbo FMIC. They are big in the Audi/VW scene, but not so much in the BMW. I decided to try them out after speaking with them... a few of my buddies picked them up and were running them with nice results. Install was direct fitment, no modification needed (a bit tight though!)

Very happy with the piece so far... I recommend it. The unit is comparable to some of the other high end models for half the price.

Same day of installation... I did a few logs stock FMIC. Runs were done on high gears ... 4th through nearly top of 5th on my 6MT (roughly 130mph) Starting temps were 70 IAT for both runs. STOCK IC up to 118 IAT, CTS only got up to 86. 32 degree difference lower with the CTS. These were done on same boost and fuel. I can't imagine how nice it will work once it starts getting hot around here, that will be the real test. So far so good

STOCK VS. CTS

Your build is coming along very nicely....it's a tad low for me as I have two teenager girls. Nevertheless, yours looks fantastic...but then being a EB owner myself, I'm slightly bias.

KW V2 Coiler Review & Thoughts

Highly recommend KW V2. KW is a top notch brand and you can tell everything on the coils looked high quality. I almost couldn't believe how terrific the ride is. Dare I say, better then stock?? Car remains very planted, body roll significantly reduced. For everyday driving, car is actually smoother... only a bit stiffer over dips and bumps, but not uncomfortable... just stiffer if that makes sense. Not bumpy at all like some other spring only or coilover systems I've ran in past cars. I do prefer a firmer suspension. Stock felt very soft (even on m sport, edc suspension) and extremely "floaty" at highway speeds. KW V2s have completely changed that.

Currently have them set about halfway firmness front and rear.

Only real problem is my f30 is pretty low now mated with the m sport front lip. Front lip only has an inch or so ground clearance so I have to be extra careful.

Stock height vs. Coilovers

How my front lip sits vs. iPhone. Not for everybody lol. I bottom out more now
