I've just gone and listened to a couple of systems at an audio specialist. The HK equivalent upgrade is not good enough for what I'm looking for. I also heard the equivalent of this option 3 upgrade which includes new door speaker, tweeters, subs under seat, amp and a digital processor. I must say it sounded phenomenal and is in line with what I'm looking for. I have been quoted 1850!

Yeah its a good amp, thats what I have in mine as part of the stage 3 package, 530w I think it is, 8 channels, so my subs have 2 channels each which are bridged for more power

Great, that's exactly what I'm looking for. The system I listened to had a sub nicely fitted to back of rear seat. Bass was so punchy I could feel it travel through the seat through my chest and that was sitting in the driver seat. The fitter said the upgrade would be almost as good as that but his bass was stronger due to having a big sub in the back.

The subs will be under the seat. The fitter didn't have the same system installed but he had a system installed in his car with the sub in the back. Although not like for like, he wanted me to hear it as it gave me an indication as to what the quality of sound would be similar to.
