Winning 4 in a row is much different. By the 4th consecutive time, people get sick of you. Lewis had some gaps in time, to keep the excitement level up. Although overall, the domination of Mercedes is pretty sickening, much like the Shuey/Ferrari years.

Although Ham didn't win 4 in a row ... I am a bit sick of him winning or on the pole so much ... even though I personally like him a lot more this season, than in seasons past. Granted the season could've been that much more exciting if Ham had at least one DNF ... or Ferrari would've been a bit more reliable.

I almost hate to say it but the Mercs are really killing the fun of spectator-ship. Unfortunately it won't be until 2021 until F1 is going to do anything about leveling the playing field a bit more ... but I doubt it really will as long as F1 is married to the hybrid PU's (which they seem to be no matter how many complain). As long as there's factory teams ... they will continue to dominate no matter what limitations F1 places on R&D or overall budgets.
