For those of you who have used the flash tuning method, has anyone actually plugged in a charger to do it? I don't have one and was wondering if it was necessary.

Noob question but how are you able to flash via iOS? I ordered an ENET cable but will I even need it? Is an adapter required (Ethernet to lightning) similar to bimmergeeks and the OTG adapter? I’m on an EWG N55. FBO waiting to be installed.
I’m going to pull the trigger on this next week. Thanks all. |

I ended up buying the flash yesterday and flashing OTS stg 1 93 octane today. Feels awesome, can’t wait for fbo and stage 2. Is there a post that shows power by map for OTS maps?

I don't think there is yet. They just finished pushing the OTS maps this past week, so after some fine tuning, people should be hitting the dyno. If I can find a good deal around here, I'll get one in before I get the custom one flashed.

No, it doesn't flash long enough to use a battery charger (this isn't MHD with their 20 minute unlocks and 4 minute flashes. ) BM3 takes 4 minutes to unlock and around 50 seconds to flash your maps. If you want to be very safe (something like winter where the cold kills the battery faster) you can attach a charger to it but I never used one as the flashes are so quick.

Are there any N20 maps offered that are set up specifically for 1/4 mile runs? I sometimes drag my car for fun at the local track and would love a map to help me get even better times.

The N20 is already pretty good for a drag race. I mean, stock torque peaks at 1250 RPM due to the small turbo. The Stage 1 or Stage 2 OTS maps will easily help your times. I'm actually going out to a 1/8th track tonight for racing and will let you guys know. I finally got stickier tires, so this RWD should stay under 9 lol.

few questions:
1. Are the OTS maps editable ? For example i get the stage 2 and get a tuner to tweak to get the most out of my hardware? 2. Do we know if more N20 maps are in development? interested in E30 blend / race gas map 3. Are custom maps created within the BM3 platform by a tuner of choice able to be sold to other users (copied basically) ? |

Much, much different. You can get with PTF to clarify the exact differences, but what I've seen mostly is cold start delete, burbles, boost targets, and a slew of other updates. I would assume V7 would be a huge improvement over V1. I'm on V4 for mine and it's night/day over my V1 from November last year
