Morimoto 2stroke 2.0
Hello,
I'm looking to upgrade my halogen headlights - ordered the USR set already but I'm debating between the Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 LED vs Elite HID. I would prefer to go the LED route given that there is no messing around with wires and replacing bulbs in the future should be a simpler process theoretically. I am unable to find any previous posts about the 2Stroke 2.0 although I did read some negative comments on the first version. Anyone here have experience with them? Do I need the DRL Anti-Flicker Link/Cap Extension that are optional add ons? I appreciate the help.

You will need the anti flicker and also need to code your headlights to not do cold and warm check. You won't need cap extension cause the 2.0s and anti flicker can all fit into the headlight housing. Here are some pics:

How did you get the bulb to fit into the adapter? I read that some others have had trouble getting it to fit because of the heat sink. Is there a trick to it? I received my headlights today but the bulbs are yet to arrive

On my OEM halogen headlight housing, I didn't need a bulb adaptor. The morimoto 2.0s fit directly into the clips that hold the original H7 halogen bulbs. The LED driver and anti flicker module also fit inside the OEM headlight housing no problem. I just tucked them in.
