battery disconnect for fuse change

Can anyone tell me if I have to go through all the hassle of disconnecting the battery to replace a fuse in the front electronic control module? I’d rather not but I’m wondering if it may cause an issue

It's probably OK. I assume that your reason for replacing the fuse is the fuse is blown, in which case whatever the fuse connects to is already disconnected from power.

Wipers permanently on, no indicators, no climate control panel power, both stalks not working. I’m only guessing it’s a fuse in the FEM
