Are we agreed?: F30 in 2011 as 2012, F32 in 2012 as 2013?

Are we agreed?:
F30 in 2011 as 2012,
F32 in 2012 as 2013?

Considering a LCI E92 (2011) and wondering on the release date of the F32 as many are. I'm generally an early adopter as I feel that the initial model is subject to a bit less cost cutting generally in uper models (i.e. 335i) in its initial offering (littel things but... nets behind seats, pre wiring, two turbos, ashtray, etc.)

Ordering today a 2011 will give maybe 2 years before retool F32 avaialability?

From what I read/see, yes. I hear the same story from the guys at the plant down in SC (even though it's obviously not built there)

We might see it next year at a auto show but I would add a year to your numbers for availability.

posted similar question in thread right above this

people in there seems to think 2013 (actual year, not model year) for the new coupe.

that being said, i've basically seen 50% of the responses saying 2012 actual year and the other 50% say 2013 (fall) as a 2014 model.

i guess it reall depends on whether or not they push the sedan forward a year to be release in 2011?

how long after an LCI do they normally wait to do a new model? I find all of this kind of silly since the E92 LCI was just announced and no one even has it yet

agreed catalyst seems crazy to not have hte LCI E92 out and talk about F32 LOL.... traditionally so I have heard there is a 7 year cycle on hte 3s.. lots of rumors of htat being accelerated...

1st 3 , E92 was 2006 as a 2007... 2013 as a 2014 would be normal retool but if accelerated...2012 as a 2013.

I find it amazing that I can order a 2011 in Feb 2010 for April Delivery!

It has to be 2013 as a 2014. Especially in this economy and 3 series is a steady seller as always.

Speaking of selling, does anyone know if current E90 sales match E46 sales?

This is ALL speculation of course, but I would lean towards 2013 for preorder of the 2014 MY F32s.
