spy pic:

I know it is very early to use the word "disappointment"

But when I look at the spy pic, it seems like current 1 series interior, look at the shape of the trim, it is thin, also the navigation screen seems like it has a folding shape... I was expecting a big screen like new 5 series and not a folding one...
and a wider trim which makes the interior richer...
The cockpit looks like simple...

May be I am wrong and the interior will look like Z4, with that high quality and sporty elements...

Anyway, it will be a more sporty interior than e90, I hope it look likes Z4...

Note: My main language is not english, so, sorry for wrong/bad usage of terms

I like the addition of the big red button above the start button.
I bet it says "Warning: Do not push."

Doesn't look bad, I just hope the window buttons are more easily accessible.

It is a 1er interior , prototypes utilise cannibalized parts in these early prototypes. In this stage of development , engineering and chassis work is more of a priority rather than fit and finish. Further down the line more prototypes will bring forth pre-production interiors as of now testing of interiors etc remains inhouse until called for action.

I kind of wish they'd put the window buttons back in the center on the sides of the shifter like the older bimmers.

Cool shots. Far too early to tell anything for sure. That could be parts bin junk thrown in there for all we know.

I see that it is more driver-oriented. Going back to e46 cues?
At least better than E9X.

What leads you to believe it is more driver focused?

I will never understand having the windows switches around the shifter. It's more so I don't understand having the passenger side window switch being on the OTHER side of the shifter. Right now I can roll down both drivers side and passenger side windows with 1 hand and 2 fingers.

At least they should group the window switchs together for the driver on the shifter.

It's the emergency stop button if the car decides to pull a Toyota.

Those aren't window switches. The car is a 5 door, and it only has two switches. More likely traction control or something like that. And if you are talking about by the I-Drive knob, those are the quick menu buttons for I-Drive.

I wish they would put the cupholders in the center console. I hate the dash mounted ones...

Well, if this picture is accurate, at least the F30 will have a HAND BRAKE! Given that the new F10 has an electronic parking brake, I had feared that the F30 would get one too. Sometimes, simpler is better, as in parking brakes, oil dipsticks and spare tires.

yeah i would just hope thats a scrap interior, a placeholder until they bring out the real deal. But I would be a bit concerned, because this thing should be out soon..... this raises questions....
