Where is the best place to replace bumper?

Got my front bumper destroyed (well, not technically destroyed, but dented and scratched all over the place) the other day when I was hit by a honda jazz as I was coming out of my car park. Anyone know where is the best place to repair and replace it in HK?

i think there is a promotion on replacing bumpers in bmwhk, they give you a special price to change to bmw performance / m-tech bodykits!

Really? I'll have to call them to see if they really have a good deal on bumpers. From my experience, they are usually 25-50%+ more expensive then comparable garages which is why I tend to avoid them. In case I don't go to bmwhk, which other garages can offer good prices and is knowledgeable with BMWs?

I called bmwhk yesterday, they mention briefly about the those bumpers, saying it cost like $13,000 for one. I'm going to shop around the garages to compare prices to see if that is really a good deal.

what may appear to be a deal from bmwhk may not be a deal from 3rd party garages.

If the damages are not required you to replace with new one, then I think just below HK$2,000 can fix your bumper and with good painting job can get as well, if you are interested, either me or oda can recommend you a good garage for repair.

I checked with one of the garages, the bumper needs a complete replacement. After doing some research, I found that bmwhk probably has the best quality supply but outside garages is quite a fair bit cheaper, so I think I will go with the outside garages for replacement.

If this is not from your pocket (suppose the honda's owner should responsible for this expenses), strongly recommending you to replace it from BMWHK not outside's garage.

The other party may contest, so man, looks like cost may go up.
The garage say there may be other damage besides the ruined bumper. That sucks, as this will mean cost will go up. Or is this an excuse by the garage to fleece me out to get more of my hard-earned cash?

If the frame is dented or cracked... that's gonna hurt your wallet a lot

I think you should get multiple quotes. Obviously BMWHK will be most expensive but they may find stuff that other shops will miss and then you can decide whether or not to go ahead with it

Yeah, I don't want to have problems with the frame! The garage I'm seeing is quite reliable and reputable. But I might go to bmwhk just to be sure.
