Since the release of the F30, I have noticed a Ed idiom in the paint color name for Havanna Metallic to Mojave Metallic.

What are the primary differences in shade? Or is it similar to Dark Graphite and Dark Graphite II?

Thanks,

Wow, Melborne Red, Mineral White, Estoril Blue, all standard option colors, not even M variants? I would assume at least Melborne Red has to be with the M Sport package though.

I am glad to see some exciting colors from BMW, good enough to compete with Audi's colors. I think that is one of the worst things about Mercedes, such dull color options (would you like black, silver or white? we do have 5 shades of each)

Estoril Blue II is M-Sport exclusive color.

Only Estoril II is exclusive to MSport. All the other colors can be had on any F30 3 series.

Thanks,
It is the same color... called Mojave in the US and Havana in other countries. I think they are afraid to use the name of a Cuban city for a paint color in the USA given our long-standing issues with that country.

They've done similar things before... the old "Electric Red" on the 3-series was sold in other markets as Japan Red.

Almost upset that some of the usual M colors are now available on non-M variants. Oh well, estoril blue looks amazing as usual

Has anyone else had trouble ordering an F30 sedan (from base model...no lines) in Jet Black exterior? I did at first, but then my dealer (in Austin, Texas), was able to put in the order about a week ago. I was forced to get Satin silver accents on the interior and chose black leather (because I chose Premium Pkge to get Xenons) and get 17 inch wheels.

Yes, that is how it goes for a no-line 328i. Satin-silver painted trim and 17" wheels. A no-line 335i gets wood trim and 18" wheels. No other factory-optioned choices exist for those particular features for a no-line car in the US.
