tail lights look amazing esp. in this color! I've come to realized that although the F30 is a good looking car, you have to look at it from the right angles because there are some that make the F30 look pretty unflattering.

This is the problem I have with the new BMW's. If you want a bigger trunk/back seat over a 3-series' one, get a 5-series. It's as simple as that. BMW is starting to mix their model lines together and are not focusing on maintaining their uniqueness when it comes to making cars... Not good

i think this is specific to the chinese market just like the F10 LWB. its for the people with money and want to be chauffeured around, but not enough money for a 5er or 7er. the additional wheelbase is all towards rear legroom.

In addition to that I thought the reasoning was while a 3li would be longer than a standard 3, it's still SMALLER than a 5 series which one would think is especially useful in scenarios like... small streets, smaller parking spots, etc.

Um, an Li 3-Series just makes very little sense to me. If somebody wanted/needed a longer vehicle, they would just step up to a 5.

In China, you buy a nice car to ride in the back while someone else drives you. *Just isn't enough legroom in the rear of the std wheelbase 3 or 5 for full time comfort. *Go ahead, sit back there with an adult in the front seat, you'll understand.

I think it's brilliant! *The 3series was always lacking in rear leg room.

Who can afford a Chauffeur, but can't afford a 5 series? I must be missing something. Not to mention that the Chinese on average are shorter and hence don't need the legroom more than we do. I'm not sure why, but there is obviously a demand for such a car over there or BMW would not be producing it specifically for this market. |

If China is using engine displacement as taxation, I understand why they make 5 series Li, as the smallest engine for the 7 series is 3.0 I6, and maybe smaller engine is available to the 5 Li. But 3 series LWB?? Would be weird to see someone is chauffeured around in a 3 series
