Yes, when my order was for an F30, it was Mineral White. To my mind the best among some strong alternatives!

I'm still trying to figure out why someone would spend $550 on this color when Alpine White is no additional charge.

First AW is a very sporty color, nothing wrong with it. However, I ordered MW because it makes the texture richer, it has its own characteristic. I think color prefernce is really personal and others might not value what one see. It's like a piece of art. IMHO

I totally agree. I just wouldn't pay extra for something so close to a freebie.

To each his own.

they're really not that close though. Black sapphire metallic is not very close to jet black. You can see the metal flake and it hides scratches and dirt better. Mineral white is even more different than alpine white.

Big fan of the Mineral white color. Looks good in that South Texas Sun!

Yeah, I've seen the JB/BSM contrast. Haven't seen the AW/MW yet.

Still, if I was going to pay for a color it would be something totally different, like blue.

From afar, AW and MW look similar (IMHO). However, under the sun, it's quite different. Some like AW because of it's purity (pure white) and sportiness but some (I am one of them) like the MW more because it just sparkles :-D. This is the MW car at my dealer's lot.

A week prior to that picture taken, I saw the same car inside the dealership showroom (not under the sun). I told myself, why would someone would pay $550 for this color while it's "exactly" look like AW.

But as soon as the dealer took it out under the sun, the color changed.

Mine (on the Dover Highway - arriving 8/10) will look like that except it will have the standard 18" Sports Wheel.
