Offroad?!

Call me insane... but im wondering how the X3 would do offroad. I know clearance is a definite factor but how would it do with some good all terrains? This is purely hypothetical.... maybe.

I know its not the greatest idea... but it sounds like fun to me lol.

So if you've done it share some experiences.... Thanks guys.

needs different tires. the stockers are defintely road-oriented. there's not enough bite on there to handle more than the occassional grass or water. going through sand/deep water/mud will easily get this truck stuck.

You can not take this car off road. It does not have low gear.

Well ive owned an x3 for the past 3 months...

i took it off road... in the mud.... deep red georgia mud.

it did struggle a bit but i didnt get stuck or anything. It seemed to handle itself pretty well for being a BMW and all. The only problem is ground clearance... but i guess that doesnt really matter in mud so much.

Anyway... you can take it offroad... it does what you need it to although i wouldnt make a habit out of it.
