You have no Target PSdZData. Make sure that there is a "Dist" folder in each of the Chassis (F01/F10/F25) folders etc.:

e.g. "C:\ESysData\psdzdata\mainseries\F010\F010_12_03_5 1 1\odx\dist"

I think you copied some files incorrectly.. make sure you copied the SWE folder.

And/or just go through the install instructions again.

Also make sure you are pointed to the correct code away est file.

So long as you only hit FDL CODE, it will change only what you changed. If however you hit CODE or CODE DEFAULTS, it will code the entire module based on some predefined conditions.

No. For example, for your HU_CIC ECU, the Coding Application file that is part of the PSdZData and used to code the ECU will be cafd_000000f9.caf.006_008_207. When you read the HU_CIC, you will get the actual Net Coding Data in a file named CAFD_000000F9_006_008_207.ncd.

So when you first get your car, read every ECU, and copy all the .ncd files to a separate safe backup location in a different folder. If you have to revert back to the original coding data, there is a process of inserting that into the CAFD and coding the module. It does not require you copy those files back anywhere.

Shawn-

When you unzip a new psdz data version, can you just copy the new psdz folders over the existing data? Or is there a best practice to "replace" the version?

I'm asking because I'd like to keep some of the files that happen to be "missing" with certain psdz releases (like in 47.1 how there was missing cafd files).

No. Don't merge the two. Delete the old PSdZData folder, and replace it with the new one.

If you want though, you can save your old C:\ESysData\psdzdata\swe\cafd, folder only, then copy the new cafd folder into that one, overwriting any older data and keeping any CAFD files that are not in the new data, and then take just that one merged cafd folder and replace the new cafd folder with this merged cafd folder.

Apart from the cafd folder, you want only the latest clean PSdZData folders and files, and not commingled with the previous version.

Did this solve your problem John? Do you have Target data now?

If you have a Combox, the coding that enables "Data Transfer" under your phone is in the Combox.

DUN_PROFILE = aktiv

This same exact setting exists also in the CIC, presumably for those without a Combox, and Bluetooth built in to the Head Unit.

If you still do not have the "Data Transfer" option, try setting this too:

SIM_ENABLED_MB = CSIM
