F30 Instrument Panel upgrade

All,

I have the extended instrument panel on my F30, and have found a couple of F10 fully digital instrument panels in eBay. It has always been a disappointment that this option is not offered on the F30, and it doesn't appear to be offered on the F80 either.

Q: is it possible to swap out the existing instruments for the digital ones? The fit and layout is identical, just presentation appears to be different.

Would be grateful for any insight.

Yes, I thought the extended black panel display was nice, until I saw a full one in a 5 series. Hate you, BMW Marketing!

Good luck with your quest, but I won't be doing it until warranty expires!

I don't think a custom job will be to difficult. Get the largest LED display that'll fit, create a moulding for it, then control it with a raspberry. Let me know if you r gonna move forward. I can write the interface for u.
