Paint maintenance

What do you guys suggest would be the best way to maintain the paintwork on my soon to be delivered alpine White f30?

Remove bird shit. It corrodes the paint. Erm, remove tar when you can - wax it or clay bar it (my 330d comes up great with Meguires Clay Bar kit) and that way the bugs and crap should lift off more easily too. Brake dust barrier on the wheels perhaps - works a treat on mine and you'll want to keep those 397's looking factory awesome! Yeah, just keep it clean.

When I first get a new car I tend to go over the top a bit and go through the carwash about once a week. After I've had the car for a while, that drops to about once every six weeks.

I spray it down with water weekly, and wash every 3rd or so week . I like to keep it shiney all the time
