The BMW 3 Series plays an important role in the BMW history. This documentary gives you an overview over six generations of the BMW 3 Series. Starting from 1975, every new model has its own characteristics, but always the same roots. The BMW 3 Series sedan is the latest representative of a long history.

nice stroll through memory lane, been a customer through e36, e46, e90, and will prob get an f30 in the next couple years. 3 series = BMW, for all intents and purposes.

Sheeesh...can you imagine how this makes a former E90 330i owner feel who sold his car in April to clear the decks for his F30 ED next week?

I'm getting really excited. Day dreamin' at work...(posting on this forum at work.) Thinking less about the trip than that moment at die Welt exactly seven days from now.

I'm too excited to be pissed that my $50K F30 won't have (and cannot have) the new iDrive. I'm too excited to remain upset over the despicable business practices of the dealer who sold me the car. And I'm too excited to worry much about the price of petrol in Europe.

Just being able to do 100mph in my car (within the break in limits -- and, BTW, what does the N55 clock for RPM at 100mph with the 2TB transmission?) when it's new, when it's in Europe is worth the wait.
