Red whiskers... Cool or cheesey?

Seen a couple of photos of black whiskers, and wondered what colour-coded ones might look like? Can't decide...

(Apologies for my rubbish photoshop skills, but hopefully you get the idea!)

Looks good imo, never thought to do that. Try it out in person and see!

Cute. A subtle difference few would notice.

Somewhat cheesy, IMO. But not nearly as bad a mod as throwing on a set of all-black alloy wheels !!!

Looks good and bad to me, but I'm pretty sure I'll start to like it more on different colored cars. Wonder what mineral gray would look like

It seems like people only want what is opposite. If the car came like this out of the factory, people would paint it black. Just like how if a headlight enclosure was chrome, people would black it out or the other way around. Do what you want, its your car. I think it looks slick.

Absolutely, gone are the days of manufacturers deciding what colours you can and can't have plus I guess people get a certain amount of pleasure from tinkering

I need to start by getting the Sport Line intakes & whiskers as I had to order the 328i Luxury because for some reason best known to BMW they don't sell the 328i Sport Line in the UK I'm hoping the parts will be a straight swap but am going to check with the dealer.

I like it- before I switched my order from Sport to M Sport, I was planning to install match-painted alpine white whiskers.

I never would have thought of it, but it really doesn't look that bad =)

edit: but wait, it says you have a Luxury Line on order? Kinda not so sure about that one in that case, the picture you showed was the Sport Line... hmm... lol

Yes, I have the 328i Luxury on order as BMW don't offer the 328i Sport Line in the UK, but I'm hoping I can then order the Sports Line parts and do a straight swap.

Then I will investigate the LED indicators from you're other thread

Just got a set of arctic white whiskers sent to me by accident. Now I have both white and black whiskers. Not sure which would look better. Will take some pick tomorrow.
