Reprint of the original window sticker
Does anyone know if there is a way to get a reprint of a BMW's original window sticker? When my dealer prepped the car for delievery they were supposed to remove the window sticker and leave it in the glove box. They didn't. I alway keep the original on file for later. Any ideas? The dealer can only offer me a copy of the original order.

I'd say you're much better off not wasting your time. Seems like that would be really hard to track down.

Do more research on Monroney Sticker Law, but I think by law dealer has to provide it (not confirmed)
If they don't there might be some solid consequences for them. Trust me, they are dealing with car deliveries every single day and they know exactly to not throw away things like that. |

It's actually printed at the VPC in either New Jersey or Port Hueneme, California. Window stickers are primarily a US thing only.

Flip through your documentation one more time. I just got my car last week and was given 2 copies. One copy was in the glove compartment and one copy was in the envelope that had my keys in it.

It does sound like a hassle to pursue. Maybe worth a few email exchanges though if it's really that important.

Check in your owners manual case. There should be an extra that was never put on. All of my 3 series have had a second there

You should be able to get a copy from your dealer. You as a consumer are entitled to see it: found this on the web:
The Monroney sticker is required to be affixed to the side window or windshield of every new car sold in the United States and can only be removed by the consumer (Chapter 28, Sections 1231-1233, Title 15 of the United States Code). A fine of up to US$10,000 per vehicle plus one year in jail for each offense is authorized if the sticker is missing. The act does not apply to vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than 8500 pounds (3856 kg) |
