AW 335i M Sport European Delivery - 20 Aug, 2012 - PICS

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Picked it up at the Welt this morning. Love the car, I'll add more details on my first impressions later, just wanted to get the pics uploaded tonight. And yes, I already turned it in, I have to fly back to the US tomorrow...I was originally supposed to be here for 5 days, but shortened it last minute for work. I really regret cutting the trip so short...work could have waited. Bummer.

Special thanks to Adrian Avila at BMW/Mini of South Atlanta!

Update 8/21/2012: Thanks for all of the nice comments-- I'm on a layover in Atlanta en route to Cincinnati -- definitely disappointed that I cut the trip so short; even one or two more days to drive a bit more and get to know the car better on those great roads would have been awesome. I was thinking it would be ok to get the Welt delivery experience, drive for a day and then head home-- I've done several European vacations, so I wasn't really interested in touring around, work is crazy right now, and I'd rather use my vacation time in SE Asia, but I really did myself a disservice to only drive the car for 7 hours. I would discourage others from doing the "1 day ED," if you're in a time crunch, try to extend for at least 2 or 3 driving days.

The one "professional" pic, and of course it's overexposed and you lose all the detail in the lines of the front bumper...

Thanks! Funny thing about the 18in M Sport wheels...I always liked the design in the renderings on the configurator, but as more people posted real photos, I started having my doubts, because in some photos they seem "small." Now, after seeing them in reality at different angles and lighting conditions, I really like them.

AWESOME LOOKING CAR !!!

reminds me of my thread

too bad you're cutting it real short... you must be on the airplane back home already.

The white color is the best for the M-Sport pack (imho).

Great choice of engine,
Great choice of transmission !!

Now you're going to suffer the pain of waiting for the next 8 weeks! (close to two months!)

Those are really nice rims too... but i wish BMW made those in 19in rather than 18in

it kinda looks small on the F30.

But no matter, this is going to be a FANTASTIC car for you!

Me too, still haven't seen them in the flesh, only seen 19"s and most pics have been 19"s. I've a AW 320d M Sport with Coral on order, was starting to worry about the wheels. But 18"s look good, only went with them as the wife drives my car more than me and was trying to minimise the expense of any damage she may cause.

Regarding the wheels, I do wish they made the same design in 19s, but they don't look as "small" in person as they do in photos. I was deadset on buying a set of 19in M5 reps ASAP, but after seeing the 18s in person, I'm not in a rush to replace them. I'm looking forward to seeing the M Performance brakes behind them after delivery.

Thanks! For now I'm planning the following:
-Red M Performance brakes (installed at the VPC with Port Installed Accessories program)
-Black M Performance kidney grilles
-Match-painted reflectors
-H&R Sport springs
-20% tint
-F10 M5 reps, 19in (use the stock wheels for winter tires)
-The jury is still out on an exhaust...I would like a little bit more growl than the stock setup, but I'm going to wait to hear more options (Eisenmann, Remus, Akrapovic, etc.)
-POSSIBLY the M Performance Power Kit

Too bad about the short trip. But on the bright side, maybe you'll make an earlier boat and get her a few days earlier.
