Brightness of interior LEDīs

Hello

A few days ago I noticed on another F30, that the interior LEDīs are brighter than the LEDīs in my F30.

I already compared the cafd Files of both cars (HU_NBT and FEM_BODY).
But I cannot find a significant difference.

Is there another ECU, which has influence on the brightness of the ledīs?

Be sure your dimmer switch for the dash is turned up as this also controls the ambient lighting and supersedes the iDrive control.

There is a way to turn the ambient lighting even higher by coding. I cant find the google docs that is was from but the function value is this:

Ambiente_Helligkeit

I changed it from 64 to 99.

You sure that 64 to 99 did increase the strength of ambient lights? I thought the value is in hex so 255 would be max?

Not entirely sure, but the Google docs that it was from said the value could go up to 99. I coded it to 99 and its a lot brighter.

All the following is "as far as i know": The values are coded in HEX... The scale of this value is in % so if you code it to 99 hex it is 153% in decimal. This is "over the scale" and causes that in the iDrive "light" configuration menu you will reach the maximum brightness at approx. 51% of the slider already... Every setting above will have no effect now.
