if u can live with a 2 seater conv its a better deal then 335, if space is an issue go with 335.

next year when new coupe comes out u will have an outdated model, with z4 it wont change for few years, as u mentioned.

i had e92 335 and now have z4 35is and the cars are different but hardtop conv amazing in the summer and on cool days.

whoever calls it a girls car has no consept of design and probably bought a bmw beacuse his neighbor had one.

1. z4, model won't change until 2016? / $500/year more on insurance/ more per month compared to 335i/ sexy as hell

2. 335i, coupe will be coming out and im gonna want that/ cheaper than the z4/ cheaper insurance than the z4

ultimately i want a coupe but the 335i is pretty damn nice. only problem is, i've had a sedan the past 4 years and i used the back seat twice. Currently have a Acura TL-S and i know the cars don't compare but want a 2 door now. However, due to the price difference/ gas mileage, 335i is a very good option also.

What would you guys do?

btw, young and single and i've only seen 1 other z4 in my area
Z4 is ok but I'd be all over a 335i coupe. The minute you get the z4 something is gonna happen where you find yourself needing a back seat.

Besides I love the be F series 3er I think it looks spectacular.

I have both a Z4 and a F30 335i (granted my Z4 is an 04, and we now have 85k on it).

They are completely different cars and really can't be compared like apples and apples. more like grapefruit and squash.

It depends on what you want/need out of the car as to which you should choose.

For the 335i? I'd go with the 335. Z4 is beautiful, but I'm partial to the 3-series.

Well mines a standard 2013 328i with M-sport and track package so you can just look that up and compare it to see who does better. Knock yourself out.

Get a z4 328i if u don't need back seats. Red seats are better color than 3 series!

Actually a good comparison would be the msport z4 28i and yes i still prefer the body lines on the 328i msport much more aggressive looking.

But if you love the z4 that much good for you man I was merely stating that i've only ever seen women driving z4s in the greater Seattle area.
