MPPK and maintenance interval

Can anyone confirm that installing the performance pack on their F30 shortens the service maintenance interval? I thought I heard someone say that their service interval dropped to 7,500 miles from the standard 15,000 after they got it installed. If its true it might be worth getting it just to get the dealer to pick up the tab on the extra maintenance.

I know the car may technically not need it but if I push my car on a regular basis I don't see how having it serviced more often is a bad thing.

Thoughts?

No, nothing from BMW about shortened service intervals. I pay for my own "in between" oil changes, but there's nothing changed regarding the standard maintenance schedule.

Only M Performance part that's shortened my intervals has been...the M Performance Brakes, but that's because I brake harder!

I installed the PPK at about 2000 km. I now have 8000 km and it still reads 18,000 km to first service. There have been a several highway trips and I do drive it briskly from time to time but generally I am pretty sympathetic to machinery. I have used 3/4 of a litre of oil for 8000 km of driving.

The anniversary of my car is January so I intend to do an oil change then = probably have 10,000 km on it by then.
