M Sport dash colored stripe?

I ordered the M-Sport and in the configuration it said that there would be a blue strip across the aluminum on the dash. There is none--just aluminum. I like it that way. But was curious as to whether it was a mistake or did I miss something on the original config?

They all have a color accent, perhaps yous is black but it's there. You don't get blue as a default, you would have had to order it as such...

There is no default afaik, it all depends on what the dealer enters into the system. My dealer also order mine with aluminum and black trim which I have in a box.

You probably have the black accent color instead of Estoril Blue ll.

Ya I think so too. Probably the dealer thought you wouldn't care. But definitely show us a pic. Mines Brushed Aluminum with Black Ascents

Accent Trim

The EBII trim piece is not the default for the M-Sport, as others have said. The colors of the trim pieces are also determined by your interior colors. For example, EBII trim is not available with the Coral Red. As that was the case with my car, I could get either Aluminum/Black or Wood/Chrome. I went with the Aluminum/Black combo.

This must be your setup.. I've attached other options that you can configure.

If you were sold a model which is not like the one you received there is room for debate, in your case I think it is an error on their end. It should be an easy fix to swap the parts.

No, that's my interior and I have the Individual Piano Black interior trim with the finisher with the Pearl Chrome finisher

If this is the interior you've got then count yourself lucky, I paid extra for this trim as it's not one of the normal options.

That's the sort of accident I could live with

I think we need the photo from the OP to clarify one way or the other

It almost looks like the Burr Walnut Wood trim that would come with the Pearl Chrome finisher

Can you put your VIN into one of the VIN decoder sites to see what it says on the build list?

Dude you have a stripe! It's called Pearl Chrome (or something). It's the silver horizontal piece in your pic.

You are right. The CA put my order in twice and looking at the first punch-list it was supposed to have the Estorile Blue. The second says Pearl Gloss.

So if I had the blue, the whole piece would be colored?

Just that piece that is about 1/2" tall, that is currently a silver-ish color right now.

Option code 4DX is for "Highlight Trim Finishers Estoril Blue Matte"

4DL is for Black high-gloss, I don't recall what the code is for Pearl Chrome.

Yep that sounds about right. You can order any color you want, and put it on yourself. Or make a post offering a trade to someone who has a color you might want.

Nice set up. What is that ///M box on your console BTW?

Not so. I ordered a 335 M Sport with Burl Wood and aluminum...no colored accent.
