Best way to read FXX codes?

     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I almost can't believe I'm asking this because of how much I know about BMW Coding and what not but I cannot seem to find the best and easiest way to get codes read out for the F3X models.

I know on the E90's you could use INPA but that's not the case on these cars, atleast I could never get the FXX INPA working.

I have an ENET cable and a working coding setup as well as an OBD-USB cable I used to use on the E90's.

I feel like if something like the BMWhat app can read out codes than I should be able to using my stuff.
