thank you will definitely keep updating. there is one problem with the car when i took delivery of the car navigation was not working and it was asking for a code the dealer couldn't come up with the code and asked me a weeks time to sort it out a week passed and they couldn't fix it so the car was taken to the service station for coding but they still where not able to fix the issue now they are claiming that the head unit is faulty and a replacement idrive comp is on its way from germany
i did some reading and found no indian maps for the 2014 NBT IDRIVE .Maby they think the 2012 maps cd will work for the updated drive (or will it?) considering it has the touch pad and needs the latest and there is no fault with the drive comp?. though i will not be spending a penny it really hurts to have my car have a part replaced/repaired for wrong diagnosis. so anybody with similar experiences or suggestions help me out on this.
thanks in advance.

Hey sorry for the late reply.

Regarding ur navigation system not working it is surprising but not new as i had seen a friends 530d m sport at the stock yard facing the same issue where the idrive was asking for a code. That car my friend did not buy as he had delayed his car buy for a bit.

So yes have seen such a problem but not exactly sure what is the best solution for the same, i guess the dealership should have checked & rectified this during the PDI itself.

I can understand how it feels sending your new car back to garage for some issue where it is not your fault

mine is the first car that navnit motors have seen having a touchpad so I'm guessing they are not trained for the new hardware.

^ Dyno results suggest that now the car is producing 312 bhp (268.4 whp)

This was on regular 91 octane fuel.

Do note the car also has an Injen CAI & an ///M Exhaust.

Will post the full report soon

Congrats on your new purchase, in Hong Kong I shared the same consideration when I brought my BMW as well. 340i is unpopular in Hong Kong due to its price, at close to HK$ 89K people will rather buy M2 at same price or chip in to get a new M3 or used M3 instead.

My friend has a 328i moderately modded, and I can tell his car is not slow at all and get lot of funs in day-to-day HK city driving.

With your car in hand, I am sure there are many mods to come. There should be some garages in India who can install/mod your car into M performance vibe territory.

Congrats again.
