Is there anything out there other than renders? I dont see anything other than speculation and photoshopped pics based off the c205 sedan so far.

Who cares? I suppose if you're convinced you have to have what everyone else thinks is "the best", then I guess it would be significant. Of course they'll be competitors, but they're not BMWs and will not have an inline-6 or any of the things that make BMW unique among the wannabes.

Looking forward to seeing the S4/S5. I was personally highly considering the S4 when shopping.

Can't wait to see the S4/S5. It will most likely be my next car after my 428i.

History will repeat itself. They will be great cars, no doubt. But replacement for a bimmer, I think not. Keep it alive fellas ...

Interior and luxury wise, most would say MB has taken and held the cake for quite some time, although I still prefer BMW's simpler and sport oriented interior.

Price to performance wise, I'd say Audi is already on BMW's level. If it wasn't a rebadged VW with mandated Quattro, I'd consider Audi, since I'm a sucker for RWD. Also their terrible residuals kill Audi's lease deals.

And as you've heard, C&D has knocked the 3 series off of their top 10 cars for the first time in a long time.

Don't get me wrong, I love BMW, and my F30, but I think your perspective represents the attitude of the management at BMW, and it's somewhat frightening.

the s-class and rs-class audis are nice. saw an RS5 the other day and it looks good. can't get over the fact an audi is a grown-up vw with a different badge. i'm not going into detail about vw's, but let's keep it at i really don't like them.
