Whatsapp Messages to display under Office

Hi,

I'm using the galaxy S4 and haven't been able to get whatsapp messages to appear.

for regular text messages I can only see new ones while in the car, but that resets once I turn off the car.

I'm driving a 2013 335 with a CIC Nav and have programmed the enhanced bluetooth.

let me know if anyone has had any luck getting whatsapp messages through idrive for Android.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Can't answer the FBapp question, but this is how the iDrive messaging works.

I think the display is only designed to work with the native sms/messenging app along with whatever the native email app is.

I recall it was a jail broken iPhone with a jail break app that send BT notifications to I drive

I tried to do this with IOS 7.04 jail broken and using BTNotificationEnabler but failed

It works now on Android, just install this app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ationforwarder

Works perfectly here for Whatsapp-messages.

I'm using this (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...org.groebl.sms) in my F30 with Android 5.1 phone. Works for Hangouts too, which is nice. You just select which app notifications you want to forward to car. I can't understand why instant messages won't get forwarded to car by default.

I would also like to mention that in my car (HU_ENTRYNAV) the messages and emails are read from the phone so I get also old messages, unlike the OP (yes, I know it's 2 year old message).
