Collecting Car on Saturday - wrinkle/prang
So I'm collecting my car on Saturday. But today my wife had a parking accident causing about a grand of damage down the near side and rear wheel arch.

Better she did it in the current car than the new one!!
I would get a quote or two for fixing it yourself so you know whether its best to do that or just let BMW sort it out. |

This exact scenario happened to a mate picking up a F30, his P/X got side swiped. He called the dealer and told them they would have to delay pick blah blah for a month or so. The dealer then agreed to take the car plus damage with a small repair fee (few hundred quid).

I had a car damaged (hit and run overnight outside a friends house) just before I picked up a new car back in 2007. Dealer agreed to go halves on the repair cost. As you say, rather get that bad luck out of way on the outgoing car! Hope you enjoy the new one!
