Should I wait?

So my car is supposed to dock in Cali on April 26th. Small chance I can take delivery on the 30th. I'm leaving for a 6 day flight trip on the 1st.

If I can take delivery on the 30th should I or wait until after the trip and see if May incentives are better than March ( 1k rebate locked in ) I also plan on tinting windows so would like to have that done while I'm away.

Thoughts?

I would wait, doesn't hurt to see what may offers, I'm doing the same thing you are.... My car will sit and wait a couple days till May if need be.

Nothing has changed since January, so I wouldn't get any hopes up about a better incentive. That said, it's not going to kill anything to wait. You're just going to be parking the car in a garage for 6 days anyways, so it's not like you're missing any driving time you would otherwise have.

Wait, nothing has changed since January? Things JUST changed from March to April. $1,000 Incentive on Sedans = Gone. MF drop by .0001, Residual increased.

Really? I thought the $1k was still available. That sucks

That's not really applicable to the OP though, since he likely ordered his vehicle in February or March, when the incentive was still going on...

It is applicable, because if he goes for May programs, he loses March incentives, you don't get to have both.

He should be locked in to his original incentives. I am locked to mine from February. If a better one had out before my car got here (it's at port in MD now) I got upgraded.

Waiting to see what's available shouldn't be a problem. There's no requirement to take the May incentive, if one comes out. If it's not as good, he can pass on it.

I was told if better rebate I get that when taking delivery.

If residual and MF are not as good but rebate is higher would have to see if difference would be worth it.

Guess just have to wait and see...
