BMW 435i M Sport Spotted in Black and in the Wild

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I just found some new pictures showing a 435i in black with the M Sport package on Bimmertoday.

I actually like these real life photos much more than the official fancy 100000 USD photo shots that some hired photo professionals hired by BMW made and that are known as the official release pictures... I was very underwhelmed when I saw the official pictures of the F32 M Sport package. This was mainly due to 3 facts:

- Official pictures didn't do the gorgeous EBII justice. As I've seen the EBII on several F30s in person, I know for myself that this color looks stunning in person. Much better and richer in shades than the color shown on the official pictures.

- They did somehow choose strange perspectives

- This is especially true for the front bumper shots that seem to be taken from a very low (crouched?) perspective. This looks unnatural and gives the car a much less aggressive look. I already suspected the m sport front bumber to look much better in person. The pictures above proove that, if you ask me (obviously taken from a more natural persective). As always the black color hides a lot of the cars beautiful lines (what a waste...) but the car looks good and aggressive and I even like the front bumber.

For whatever reason I really think BMW should take more (or less) care of the offical picture they release. I remember having been very underwhelmed by the offical F30 m sport "pictures" (which have rather been computer renderings, if I remember correctly). Almost every photo shoot of F30 M Sport cars posted here on the forums looked better more aggressive and did the car and its various colors more justice. Don't know what you guys think...

i'm liking it! yeah shame on BMW's official photos. they are HIDEOUS. does not do the car justice AT ALL. the angles are super weird as you've mentioned. don't know what they were thinking.

Lol, anyone that still claims the E92 looks better is either blind, owns one or is just plain stupid!
It looks smashing! When my lease is up in 2015 - (Gran) coupe here I come!

I don't like what they did with the front bumper. The thing I enjoy most about the front of the F30 M-Sport is the curved line that starts at one end, wraps down and around the front defining the intake for the intercooler/rad, then curves up the other side. It gives the car a lot of personality. I am also not a fan of the air ducts behind the front wheels, they seem gimmicky.

I have to agree. I also like the F30 M Sport front bumper more. I can't remember anyone complaining about its looks and most people seem to enjoy it, so I'm with you not to understand why they didn't use basically the same one, albeit wider, on the F32. Maybe this was a sacrifice to adhering to their new strategy of "differentiation" between the F30 and the F32.
But although I completely agree on the F30 M Sport looking more natural, flowing and aggressive, I'm still positively surprised by these real life pictures. It is likely that I can live with that F32 M Sport front bumper instead of exchanging it with an expensive F30 M Sport replica (I'm sure, some company will offer those for the F32).
Might even be that the F32 M Sport front bumper grows on me with time, as I already start to like it.

Concerning the side vents, I really don't know what BMW is thinking. It would have looked much better if they simply omitted the glossy black (or chrome, depending on the line) "curbs" around those vents. I really think that a 3D looking vent in the sheet metal without any curb around it, would have looked more technical and less gimmicky. If they would at least offer them in a more sporty and technical variant! Like the matte metal finish found on the side vents, window borders and grille of the concept... sigh. At least these things should be easy to correct by some simple modding. I'm already thinking of some matte titanium vinyl wrap for those parts... ;-)

Looks good.

Is it me or the rearview mirrors look disproportionately big?
Kinda like Shrek ears once again.

It's a great looking car, but black doesn't do it any favors...it masks all the lines.

That little front fender vent is so dinky though...

The front bumper around the place where the fog lights should be was messed up. It should have been curvy like in the F30 msport.

Otherwise its a smashing car, pure sex

Do we know if there will be a 435i M Sport and an M435i, or will it be like the F22 and only get the Mx35i treatment with no M Sport model for the larger engine?

I see a future f30 m-sport front bumper retrofit coming soon as the car is out. The car is growing on me but the front m-sport and the side vent really degrade the looks of this car.
