BMW 4 Series Convertible Drops Camo and Poses with Coupe

Now that the 4 Series Coupe (F32) has been revealed, it's no surprise that we've now spotted the 4 Series Convertible (F33) with less camouflage than ever, essentially fully revealing itself. As with its predecessor (E93 3 Series convertible), the 4 Series Cabrio features a folding metal roof.

Earlier spyshots show the hard top operation and the design is largely similar to the current E93 convertible (video in action below). The Mebourne Red model features the M Sport Package.

The F33 will share the same engine and transmission options as the F32 coupe, as well as the coupe's styling. As you can see in the photos below, the two differ only in their markedly different rooflines - the F32 taking on a more fastback-like rear roofline while the F33 retains the more traditional roofline.

Production of the 4 Series convertible (both 435i and 428i) begins later this year - in November 2013.

Going to the nürburgring friday or saturday I think, hopefully I'm able to see it in real life and make some photos for the forum

Soft tops look sooooo much classier. This just looks akward. Granted it could be the camo, but at this point it looks more awkward than the E93. Which didn't exactly have a graceful roof line either.

Hm the back always seems a little weird on that coupe. Good looking but weird. Move the window up a bit and flatten the trunk and I think it would look sexier in a classic way.

They should've made the coupe roof line like the convertible. I hate the S5 alike roofline on the 4er coupe.

The E93 still has a small sharkfin on the deck lid which is not present here.

Some non-US cars that lack some communications features do not have the sharkfin so this may be a similar case. Or it could be that they've moved the antennas elsewhere for the F33.

I think it looks really good... title is misleading though it still has quite a bit of camo! Can't wait to order one.

Im glad I ordered one of the last e93 335is' to be honest. The f3x is a nice generation, but that ugly hood line above the roundel and the headlights touching the kidney grilles drive me nuts.

Exactly!!! Love my wife's M-Sport e93 but that chrome trim is annoying.

My Z4 is getting old starting to nickle and dime me to death, I can still get $15k for her so I think she going to be gone..$10,000 down and I can hang out with my kids.

on the E93 there were fins on the trunk lid. For the OP, the new F-Model they displayed in the original post is a Euro model, thus there is no antenna.
