BMW Port Installed Accessories Program (PIA) for your new F30

I have ordered a 2014 335i xdrive with Euro Delivery. I heard a lot about BMW's Port Installed Accessory Program (PIA). I found a lot of threads with partial lists of PIA options, but never a complete list.

I have been informed these items can be added very similar to purchasing an option on a new vehicle.

These are MSRP prices and include install. Install will be performed at VDC or Vehicle Delivery Center.

Description below is based off build sheet, so wording might be different.

Z06 Black Kidney Grilles $173 (Invoice $130)
Z09 Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler $570 (Invoice $418)
Z10 Performance Exhaust $1335 (Invoice $885)
Z21 Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps $694 (Invoice $490)
Z23 Rear Diffuser $590 (Invoice $410)
Z24 Stainless Steel Pedals $205 (Invoice $150)
Z2N Performance Brakes (Orange, Red, Yellow) Calipers $3040 (pick color)
Z2Q Carbon Fiber & Alacantra Trim $1050
Z2R Carbon Fiber Selector Lever $225
Z2M M Performance Side sill decals $200
Z3N Front Splitter Black $730 (invoice $680)
Z3R Lower blades M rocker panel blk $440
Z3V Rim & Tire set style 405M $4865
Z4A M Performance Power kit $1170 ***Has been temporarily discontinued due to engine upgrade*** (Invoice $860)
Z4D M colored bumper stripes $360
Z4F Carbon Fiber brake handle $220
Z51 Rear Deck Spoiler - Black $425
Z54 Sirius Radio $418
Z55 Black Sport Stripes $352
Z62 Wheel Locks $96 (Invoice $86)

I am not sure which of these are only available on 335i vs 328i.

Anyone have luck negotiating these prices into their new car sale or lease?

Update 07/17/2013 -
Z4A M Performance Power kit $1170 is currently no longer available under PIA Program. Speculation is due to new launch control function. It's anticipated this will become available again around November 2013.

Update 08/08/2013-
Updated invoice pricing for these parts. If you have invoice prices for the remanding items, send them to me so I can update this thread.

yeah just placed my order and these options were just like getting any other options except that you can do them much later in your build process..

you should get the same discount as you would with your factory build (since it is all one cost and one build). i did.

Prices seem very high even though its installed... Are you guys getting this stuff lower than the listed msrp?

Plus you pay tax.

I had Z4A (MPPK) port installed. It gets included on the vehicle price sticker. My car order was invoice priced including this option so yes you can get them below msrp.

i was just thinking this ... i know that usually you pay for it separately from the car (especially if you lease) so youd think u could add it anytime before it gets to the port, right?

That is what I am thinking because I would really like to add the m performance exhaust to my order. My car is currently waiting for a ship in Bremerhaven.

Not sure if you saw this but the MPPK is no longer available right now after July 1st produced f30's. it's due to some engine update and won't be available until around November. This was put out today by BMW

i wonder if i would be able to still add the mppk to the price, so i can discount it and finance (lease) it. then they can just install it when it comes out??

Doubtful because if the package changes the price may too.

Plus, why pay interest on something for many months that you don't have?

typically dealers are very reluctant to add m-performance parts into the lease as part of the overall price. they want you to pay for it straight up. that's been my experience ... and honestly, its the better way to go anyway to DWALLS point.

Since I have already added MPPK as part of my VO, wonder if I can hold BMWNA to honor this price wise???

Since it's cheaper to have it done at VDC than dealer after the fact. Not to forget if it's part of PIA Program, it would all be covered under 4yr/50k warranty. If it's done post delivery it's a 2yr warranty.

Anyone else have it part of their VO? My car doesn't have a production date yet, but ED is set for 8/16.

It will be deleted from VO. Have CA pull a current VIR.

If my 2013 335ix was built July 20th 2013, the power kit will be deleted if it is added?

CA just said I could add it, or add it with the exhaust as part of a Performance Tuning 2 package

If your car is a 2013 then you are good to go on being able to have the MPPK.

Alright thanks!

I'm a little confused though, I had thought every car built after July 1st 2013 was suspended from the MPPK?

How is my 2013 built on July 20th, 2013...somehow exempt from the suspension?

Because your car was built in SA, where they didn't do the MY2014 switchover until August 1.

I've updated this thread based off invoice pricing I received for my 2014 335i xdrive build. If you have add'l invoice pricing, PM them to me.. hope to have this thread is full of both MSRP and Invoice these these.

My MPPK was removed from my build, although my CA handed me ppwk with it listed. After the car makes it back, and the MPPK is released for 2014's, he tells me it should be honored at the Invoice price. Guess we'll know later.

Thanks BL 5 - great thread. I just ordered a 2014, and my CA was a little unclear on the options regarding PIA.

If anyone can find the invoice price for the front splitter, I'd love to see that info as well.

Just doing some basic math, looks like invoice is generally between 65%-70% of MSRP for PIA items. Since MSRP is $730, my guess would be $480-$515.

Once you find out, let us know!
