Real Life Look at F32 4 Series and E92 3 Series Coupes Side-by-Side

I thought I would make a comparison to my 2011 328 xi next to a 2014 435i M sport.. very low lighting so photos are grainy and poor quality..

2011 328xi and 435i x drive m sport . two spectacular vehicles. BMW continues to raised the bar..simply a moving network of science and technology...

I have my 435i M sport on order. hope to see it before x-mas

They are both beautiful, the rear end of the older version is better in my opinion, the 435 is a little anonymous

Since it's at a BMW dealership, I'm assuming he replaced the 2011 with the 435i.

E92 328 does not look worse. Both of them are excellent! Great comparison.

The 328 holds up pretty well. The 4 looks more like a bigger model rather than the direct replacement.

I don't like the F32 frontend, too many swoops, and lines. What's with that boomerang? I much prefer the simple, classy lines of the E92. If you like flashy, than the F32. If you like simplicity, than E92.

is it just me--or do the exhaust tips on the 435 seem bigger than the tips on a F30 335?---this might just be the pictures...but can anyone confirm?

the hood line is killing me.

i can't get past the break in the hood and nose cap. maybe on a black car it will stand out less.

As someone who hasn't visited this section in a while, what the hell is a M4 series? Are they mixing the 3 Series line?

The lines on F3x hood don't make sense. On E9x the lines going from the lower windshield corners connect to the outside upper nostril corners. Also the F3x rear end is tall like suv. The E92 overall is sleeker.

4 is coupe, 3 is sedan. Just like audi has a4 and a5. Basically, pay more for a higher (artificially) model

wow you've got a lot of ketchup to do!
To simply put, New M3 coupe is now known as M4.

M3 will remain as the 4-door/sedan.

As for the comparison, Thanks OP for the photos ! Both are beautiful cars!
F32 is IMHO a worthy successor to the E92 (visually at least).

the profile of the F32 is much better than the "bubbly" E92.

Every angle on the 4 looks better and you can tell that its the more modern one, but thats not to say the e92 isnt handsome
